WEBGUM EXPLAINED, SIMPLY

Your information. Explained in plain English.

Tell us where you need your information handled, and we'll explain what is possible before you choose a service.

Option A · Standard processing

You are comfortable with website and service providers potentially handling information in more than one country. We will explain relevant provider arrangements and what data may be involved.

Option B · Country-restricted processing

You need information to stay within a particular country or region—for example, due to your organisation's rules. Tell us before purchase so we can assess whether we can meet that requirement.

Option C · Not sure yet

We can help identify whether your site is informational only or will collect names, messages, account details or other information. This helps clarify which arrangements need review.

A simple example

A personal portfolio showing drawings and a contact email usually needs much less data handling than a clinic website storing patient appointments. We offer simple website packages as a starting point; sensitive, regulated and data-heavy sites need separate review.

What information does WebGum need?

When you enquire, we may need your name, contact details, country, website goals and business information. If you become a customer, we may need billing and service records. We should request only information needed for the next step.

Who may have access?

Authorised WebGum administrators and service providers may process the information necessary to deliver the services. We must check actual hosting, storage and transfer arrangements before finalising a contract. Do not assume data stays in Australia merely because WebGum is based there.

How can I ask about my information?

Email info@webgum.au to ask about access, corrections or deletion. Some records may need to be kept for lawful business, payment or recordkeeping reasons. A complete retention schedule and security description will be published after operational verification.

Important before launch

This is explanatory draft content, not a verified legal privacy policy. We must identify actual providers, hosting locations, appropriate notices, contractual terms and applicable privacy requirements before accepting customer data. Do not send confidential records through an ordinary enquiry.

Need a hand deciding?

Tell us what you're planning. We'll explain the next steps and put the important details in writing before you commit.
